Favorite place in the region: “Lake Keechelus in the winter. It completely freezes over and is covered with snow. It’s surrounded by dark evergreens which each have their own little snow dusting. It’s incredible to look at.”

Why I support: “I love living in Seattle for two reasons. One is the plants. I love being able to see green everywhere I go. It often seems that when I go to other cities, all there is is gray. The second reason is rain; I couldn’t live with out it. Sometimes I feel that if I were to live anywhere else I wouldn’t survive for the lack of water constantly pounding on my skin.”
