Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Events/ Work Parties
Join one of the scheduled work parties posted on the CLC calendar, or in a local park or natural area with one of the Green City Partnerships. Events are sponsored by our County
Trustee Chapters and are led by trained staff and volunteers. Community and business groups are welcome. What can you expect? Plenty of exercise, enjoyable company, and the joy of planting native species and rooting out invasives like English Ivy and Scot’s Broom. You’ll make a difference and have fun doing it.
Check out the Events page for more information.

Land Steward Program
Land Steward Program: Volunteer Land Stewards play a central role in our program. Trained by CLC
stewardship staff, volunteer stewards monitor properties, document threats, and help with on-the-ground restoration. They are our eyes and ears in the field, and our ambassadors to neighboring communities. Please check out our Land Stewards page for further information.
