Welcome!
Our Vision
The City of Kent and the Cascade Land Conservancy are partnering with the volunteer community to restore all of Kent's parks and natural areas. This is the next step as we continue the great work we've been doing together.
With the Green Kent Partnership we're thinking bigger, setting more sophisticated goals, and coordinating our efforts across the city for the long term.
What's Happening Now
We're analyzing data, making timelines, and vision into a plan that can carry us forward. We'll be spending the next month finalizing, editing, and printing a 20-year plan for the Green Kent Partnership.
Stay tuned, because it's about to get a lot more exciting:
- Volunteering
- Being active in the parks and natural areas
- Removing invasive weeds
- Planting trees, shrubs, and groundcover
- Learning about environmental restoration
-
Making change in our community for a healthier environment
