Our Vision

The City of Kent and the Cascade Land Conservancy are partnering with the volunteer community to restore all of Kent's parks and natural areas. This is the next step as we continue the great work we've been doing together.

With the Green Kent Partnership we're thinking bigger, setting more sophisticated goals, and coordinating our efforts across the city for the long term.

What's Happening Now

We're collecting and analyzing data, talking about what's happening currently, and figuring out what you want to see in your public spaces. In the spring we'll be starting back up with hands-on restoration, but right now we want your input to help shape the 20-year plan for this program.

Stay tuned, because it's about to get a lot more exciting:

  • Volunteering
  • Being active in the parks and natural areas
  • Removing invasive weeds
  • Planting trees, shrubs, and groundcover
  • Learning about environmental restoration
  • Making change in our community for a healthier environment

If your neighborhood organization, school, church, business, or other group would like to host a presentation, please contact greenkent@cascadeland.org.
