Conservation Services

Cascade Land Conservancy endeavors not only to provide stewardship on CLC lands, but also works in partnership with other Land Trusts, Tribes, Government Agencies, Non-Profits, and community members to improve land management throughout our region.  CLC staff and partners provide professional services on a consulting basis.

These services include:

Planting

  • GIS mapping and modeling
  • Planning, program coordination and public outreach
  • Ecological restoration and habitat enhancement planning and implementation
  • Community volunteer coordination and on-site management
  • Training in stewardship and restoration techniques, planning and implementation
  • Habitat analysis and ecological monitoring
  • Conservation planning and development of prioritization systems
  • Development and implementation of Land Management Plans
  • Land conservation through easements and acquisitions

An example of these services include our Green Cities Program, our Cedar River habitat conservation and restoration partnership with Seattle Public Utilities and the conservation planning system we developed for Pierce County Parks and Recreation.
