Location: King County

Acreage: 1651.00 acres

Ownership History:  The City of Black Diamond granted a conservation easement to CLC in 2006.

Property Description: The Cedar Green property contains working forest lands with recreational trail easements across Ravensdale Ridge.  It is in the vicinity of the Rock Creek Headwaters conservation area, encompassing portions of the Rock Creek Corridor and associated wetlands.

Conservation Values: The area provides water quality and quantity protection to Rock Creek, which feeds into the Cedar River, and the working forest land offers habitat important to a variety of species including the Green River Elk Herd.  Conservation Easement terms prohibit development and have simple forest harvest limitations associated with riparian corridors and wetlands.
