Property Description: The log cabin reach of Issaquah Creek is a critical portion of an identified King County wildlife corridor that includes mature forest, high-quality wetlands, and one of the most pristine stretches of low-elevation creek remaining in King County.

Conservation Values: The 112 acres of land encompass 1.2 miles along the main stem of Issaquah Creek, providing a variety of habitat types for a diverse population of wildlife species.  Terrestrial, aquatic, and avian species will benefit from the upland, wetland, and riparian habitats on the project site.  Species known to use the site include elk, bear, deer, coyote, pileated woodpecker, red tail hawk, Chinook, Coho, and sockeye salmon, kokanee, steelhead, and potentially bull trout.
