Property Description: The City of Duvall will incorporate the property into its plan to enhance the visibility and accessibility of existing trail, park and open space resources. The city’s pedestrian-friendly redevelopment plan includes the addition of new sidewalks, trails, and pathways to improve access to McCormick Park and the popular Snoqualmie Valley Trail. The property is located on the eastern edge of the city and features a steep hillside which the City plans to reforest with native plants.
Conservation Values: The property contains a mix of middle age Douglas firs in the upland area and red alder in the riparian corridor. It also includes a portion of Cherry Creek, an important salmon stream and tributary to the Snoqualmie River as well as a critical source of cool, clean water to the Snoqualmie system.
