Ownership History: CLC assisted the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation in acquiring an empty parcel of land for a public park from the Washington State Department of Transportation in 2000.

Property Description: This site is a neighborhood park that has been renamed Oxbow Park.  Park elements include a P-Patch, a neighborhood gathering space, a paved plaza and path, low water and natural plantings, and the relocated Hat n' Boots historic landmark structures.

Conservation Values: The property is important because it is an open space in a predominantly lower income neighborhood that is has become increasingly surrounded by industrial and commercial properties.
