Location: King County, Middle Fork Snoqualmie River watershed

Acreage: 220.00 acres

Ownership History:  In 1997, CLC set up a conservation easement with Northwest Wilderness Programs to protect Hardscrabble Creek.

Property Description: The property is located on the boundary of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area in the Middle Fork Valley of the Snoqualmie River.

Conservation Values:  Although parts of the lower property were logged in the 1940’s this is within one of the largest un-logged valleys in the State and is one of the most pristine watersheds remaining on Earth, containing over 400 species of plants and wildlife. Its preservation is crucial to the integrity of the entire upper valley.
