Quick Facts about CLC

  • CLC was founded in 1989.

  • CLC is the largest independent land trust in Washington State having protected nearly 175,000 acres in 10 counties throughout the region.

  • CLC owns or controls by easement about 12,500 acres in the region.
  • Key Staff:

Programs:  Michelle Connor, Executive Vice President, overall responsibility for the implementation of The Cascade and Olympic Agendas including conservation and policy.

Operations:  Teresa Macaluso, Chief Operating Officer, with overall responsibility for operations and management of the Conservancy.

Stewardship:  Jodie Salz,  overall responsibility for the ecological stewardship of CLC lands. CLC also assists a number of organizations with the stewardship of their lands.

Development:  Linda Maxson, overall responsibility for   fund-raising, grant applications and major gifts

Communications:  Natalie Cheel, overall responsibility for internal and external communications, including websites.
