CLC was founded in 1989

CLC is the largest independent land trust in Washington State having protected over 140,000 acres in 10 counties throughout the region.
- CLC owns or controls by easement about 12,500 acres in the region.

Green Seattle Partnership: The Green Seattle Partnership was formed in 2005 between the City of Seattle and the Cascade Land Conservancy. It is a 20-year program to retore 2,500 acres of wooded parklands in the city through the removal of invasive plants such as English Ivy and the planting of native confirs.

Cascade Agenda: The Cascade Agenda is a 100-year conservation program hosted by the CLC that links significant land conservation with livable communities and a vibrant economy.

Key Staff:
Operations: Casey O'Connor, Executive Vice President, second in command with overall responsibility for operations and management of the CLC.
Transactions: Kevin Duffy, overall responsibility for land transactions. Oversees Conservation Directors in each of the five counties where CLC operates.
Stewardship: John Floberg, overall responsibility for the ecological stewardship of CLC lands. CLC also assists a number of organizations with the stewardship of their lands.
Cascade Agenda: Michelle Connor, overall responsibility for the implementation of The Cascade Agenda, especially from a policy standpoint. Development: Deb Crespin, overall responsibility for fund-raising, grant applications and major gifts.
Communicatons: Steve Dunphy, overall responsibility for internal and external communications, including web sites.
Legal: Bryan Glynn, General Counsel.
