Cascade Land Conservancy, the IRC, and St Thomas Parish invite you to an open house for the new community garden opening in Tukwila this Spring.

• We’ll have 10’x10’ plots available for individuals or families
• We’ll have a shared garden for the food bank – and need volunteers

Come to the open house February 4th:
• Garden design presentation at 6:30pm
• Learn how to get a plot or volunteer for the food bank
• Get your garden plot application
• Eat good food and make music

What to bring:
• A name for the garden
• Friends or family who want to garden too
• Food for a potluck (bring for four if you can – but come no matter what)
• A musical instrument (anything you have)

Why this garden is exciting:
• Neighbors can walk to the garden and grow food
• Local refugee families can grow food and strengthen community ties
• We’ll provide food for St Thomas’ food bank
• Foster High School teachers and students will learn by growing food
