Create a Community Garden!

Help plan a new community garden at St Thomas Church that will provide healthy local food for Tukwila’s diverse residents.

• Start planning!

• Eat good food (we’ll provide it – but feel free to bring snacks or dessert if you can!)

What we need:

• Gardeners: We need to make sure all the plots will be used!

• Leaders: Do you want to help design the garden, organize your neighbors, or coordinate? We need you.

What the garden can be:

• Neighbors can walk to the garden and grow food

• We’ll have a special focus on immigrant / refugee communities

• We’ll grow food for a food bank

• Foster High School teachers and students will be involved
