Please join us for the first Tacoma/Pierce County Community Gardeners Summit!

Come learn from expert growers how to start a new community garden, or how to garden on your own – and meet your neighbors who are gardening too!

Keynote speakers: Marilyn Strickland, Mayor of Tacoma; Carrie Little & Terry Carkner, Pierce County farmers

Expert panel: "How to start a new community garden" (Andrew Mordhorst, founder of Dan Mulholland Memorial Garden; Randy Hynek, Sumner City Councilman and Community Garden Advocate)

Hands-on Workshop: "Creating a spiral garden in a small space" (with Michele Dryden-Pratt of Heart & Soil)

Free and open to everyone interested in growing food!
