1) Duwamish Alive Events
Come join the Duwamish Alive Coalition for Earth Day as hundreds of volunteers roll up their sleeves to work on seven simultaneous habitat restoration projects along the Duwamish River. Duwamish Alive! is a chance for people to reclaim the river by weeding invasive plants, planting native species, mulching the planting areas, and picking up debris and trash from the riverfront sites.

Join Cascade Land Conservancy for Earth Day on Duwamish Riverbend Hill

The Duwamish Riverbend Hill in Tukwila consists of an unusual outcropping of bedrock rising above the Duwamish River, as well as 600 feet of river shoreline.  The property is culturally significant for its association with southern Puget Sound Salish oral tradition and history, as a key location in the stories collectively known as the “Epic of the Winds.”  Come join volunteers this Earth Day to assist in the effort to restore this property.
