Join us on a Community Celebration

and event at Duwamish Hill Preserve!


Please join the Cascade Land Conservancy, City of Tukwila, and the Friends of the Hill to celebrate the completion of Phase I and the opening of the Preserve to the public. This family friendly celebration will include interpretive tours and other activities that highlight the
cultural and ecological significance of the 8.6 acre site.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2010

10:00 AM: SITE OPENS FOR SELF GUIDED WALKING
10:30 AM: ACTIVITIES BEGIN: STORY TELLING, INTERPRETIVE WALKS

11:30 AM: DEDICATION, REMARKS

12:00 PM: FRIENDS OF THE HILL BBQ (lunch provided—bring a picnic blanket)

1:00 PM ACTIVITIES WRAP UP

Driving S on I‐5: Take Exit 158. Drive west toward the intersection of Marginal Way and Pacific Highway. Take a hard left onto E Marginal Way S. Take a left onto S 115th St. Park in the pull‐out on the right shoulder.

Driving N on I‐5: Take Exit 156. Take the Tukwila Exit. Take a left onto Interurban Ave S. Turn right onto S
115th St. Park in the pull‐out on the right shoulder.
