Today, more than ever, we are faced with environmental, social, and economic challenges that will define our generation, shape our future, and test our resilience. Our region has established visions for the future, but frequently barriers impede the realization of our collective goals.
As an extension of our 2008 and 2009 Design for Livability conferences, join AIA Seattle and Cascade Land Conservancy to get beyond the talk and the PowerPoint and hear from successful leaders who have used creativity to shape real change in our communities. This three-part series will provide unique and dynamic perspectives on building more livable, walkable and healthier cities. We will explore the emerging conversation about sustainable cities and their fundamental link to our health and well being. This is an opportunity to hear from leaders firsthand that individual tenacity and determination can create lasting change.
This program features a 45-minute interview with an opportunity for auidence Q&A.
Thursday, May 5, 5:30 – 7:00PM
