The Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley is one of East King County’s truly wild places, with old-growth forests, whitewater rivers, and strong native trout runs.
Cascade Land Conservancy is working with the Mountains to Sound Greenway, local communities and other partners to remove infestations of invasive weeds from the entire valley before they devastate critical habitat.
Land managers and local groups have worked for decades to protect the 110,000-acre Valley – just 30 miles east of Seattle - and make it a better place for low-impact recreation.
Successes include protection of thousands of acres of key habitat, a new campground, construction of miles of new trails, and new river access facilities.
Land managers and community groups are now focused on long-term stewardship, including an Invasive Weed Control Project.
Please join us!
