Carbon River Valley

CLC is working to protect the "gateway" to Mt Rainier National Park along the scenic Carbon river valley. CLC has purchased several key properties along the valley, and recently acquired the Marsh Farm, an important 200-acre parcel that will be the new entrance to the proposed Mount Rainier National Park addition.

The Marsh Farm was the first property purchased using CLC's innovative Conservation Investment Fund, LLC, a privately placed investment fund designed to allow the Conservancy to act quickly on available properties while providing investors with a modest return.
