Habitat Lands

CLC has conserved over 120,000 acres of land in the region.  But this is not nearly enough to conserve the ecological richness and natural heritage of the area. Our 100 year vision, The Cascade Agenda calls for 260,000 more acres to be preserved for ecological and recreational opportunities- in addition to 1 million acres conserved as working farms and forests.

Hazelwolf WetlandsPublicly held lands in the Northwest already provide the majority of ecological lands in the region and the most outstanding recreational opportunities.
