County Snapshot

North Fork of the Stillaguamish

Our work in the county began with the work of the Snohomish Land Conservancy which merged with CLC in 1998. Snohomish County is one of the fastest growing counties in the State.

While most of the Eastern county is held within federal and state forests and Wilderness areas the  Western half of the county is experiencing record growth.  The county's population grew by over 30% from 2000 to 2005- and is expected to add 300,000 more people by 2025.

Robe Canyon 2CLC recently protected a key property adjoining Robe Canyon Historical Park, considered the gem of the Snohomish County Regional Park system. Click here for details.
