Lynn Scherer is a former New Yorker who moved to Seattle in 2001 and has not looked back, despite the impossibility of finding a decent bagel. After getting her degree in Government from Clark University, she worked on conservation and environmental policy issues for Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Land Trust Alliance. Lynn joined CLC in November 2010, and is combining her experience with policy and fundraising to help CLC build coalitions, manage current government grants as well as apply for new ones, and generate funding from private foundations to support the innovative work of CLC’s Policy department.
