Elsa Sargent
Stewardship AmeriCorps volunteer
Elsa hails from
Vermont and graduated from Dartmouth College in June with a B.A. in Geography
and Government, concentrating in political ecology. She spent a summer leading
a Eurasian milfoil eradication program in her hometown and also served a 3-month
environmental education internship at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in
Colorado.
While at Dartmouth she captained the cross country ski
team. After graduation, Elsa moved to Bozeman Montana, where she enjoyed exploring the
mountains of the West. While there she also volunteered with the Gallatin Valley
Land Trust. She's an avid skier, biker, and runner and loves anytime spent
outdoors with friends. She will be working as the AmeriCorps intern for CLC's
Land Stewardship program.
