Nick Harper joined CLC in March 2008 as Snohomish County Conservation Director. He is currently responsible for overseeing and implementing CLC’s conservation efforts in Snohomish County, including identification of conservation priorities and actions, collaboration with public and private entities, negotiations to acquire properties, fundraising, and outreach. 

Prior to working with CLC, Nick worked with the Snohomish County – Camano Association of Realtors® where he was serving as Director of Government Affairs. Prior to his work with the Realtors®, Harper held the position of Field Director for Congressman Rick Larsen’s (D-Arlington) reelection campaign in 2006.  He has a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law, is licensed to practice law in Washington State, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington.
