Born and raised in western Washington, Gina attended the University of Washington in Seattle where she received her bachelors in Botany with a minor in Forest Management.  Here she gained a special interest in the link between a healthy environment and a sustainable forest products industry. After working as an environmental education instructor and as a field botanist in forest research, she joined CLC's Cascade Agenda program in December of 2005.  Her free time is spent mostly with her horse, "Buddy", and also hiking Washington's forests with her dog "Panda".
