Forest Assessment Coordinator

Lisa joined CLC in April 2010 as the Forest Assessment Coordinator. Her work focuses on developing and using tools to quantify urban tree canopy cover and the associated ecosystem services. Lisa received her Master’s of Science from the University of Washington’s Center for Urban Horticulture, where she worked closely with CLC’s Green Seattle Partnership to research methods to improve conifer seedling survival. Prior to graduate school, Lisa worked on native plant conservation efforts nationally as a Program Manager and a Crew Leader with the Student Conservation Association. Lisa grew up in south Seattle and has a soft spot for regional conservation.
