Andrea is starting her second year with the Conservancy's Green Seattle
Partnership. Last year Andrea was the
project’s AmeriCorps intern. She has
returned this year as a Project Associate to continue her work promoting and
restoring urban forests and park lands in Seattle. She is responsible for event planning and the project communications through the website and print
materials. After graduating in 2004 from
Hope College
in Michigan,
she served for a year on the Northern Arizona Conservation Corps. She followed her love of conservation and
environmental education to Seattle. In her free time, Andrea likes to spend time
outside on the water and is excited to compete in the Duck Dodge sailing races
on Lake Union again this year.
