Julie joined the CLC staff as Outreach Director in July, 2007.  Prior to working at CLC, Julie was the Executive Director of an organization focused on civic leadership training and development.  She has a strong background in communications, volunteer management, and outreach - specifically focusing on intergenerational leadership and succession planning.  Most recently, Julie served as the Director of Civic Education for Cleveland Leadership Center in Cleveland, Ohio where she worked to create broad based community support for the organization and its programs, and managed numerous volunteer committees and advisory boards.  Julie has her Master’s of Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University, and a BA in Political Science and Minor in Environmental Studies from Ohio University.  Julie is also a graduate of the Rockwood Leadership Program and is a proud alumnus of Americorps National Civilian Community Corps.
